Sheila T. Preston was born on July 8th, 1953, to Panthia Walker and John Issac Taylor, in Scranton PA.
Sheila Preston, beloved wife of 51 years to Baines Preston and mother of Najja Preston and Baines T. Preston passed away peacefully in Rochester, New York on January 7th, 2025, at the age of 71.
Sheila had an eighteen-year career as a bus driver for RTS (Regional Transit Service). She loved art, music and gardening. Sheila also enjoyed spending time outdoors with family at her cabin in Addison and taking family trips.
Sheila is predeceased by her mother, father and brother. She is survived by her husband, two children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:30AM at The Episcopal Church of St. Luke & St. Simon Cyrene, 17 South Fitzhugh Street, Rochester, NY. Repast to be held at 2PM at 287 Andrews St, Rochester.
