Margaret Christian
February 11, 1958 – July 11, 2025
Predeceased by her beloved parents, Mary and Joseph Marletta and mother-in-law Mary L. Christian.
Survived by her loving husband, Joe, who never left her side after 41 years of marriage; her children Kathryn (Christopher) Mulheron and Joseph (Valerie) Christian; her two granddaughters who brought her so much joy, Juliette Susanne and Mackenzie Margaret; brothers Thomas, Michael (Margaret Gutowski); father-in-law Joseph L. Christian; sister-in-law Debbie (Richard) Parrinello; many cousins, nephews, and a host of friends.
Margaret was a devoted University of Rochester employee for 42 years. No person was ever a stranger; she made friends wherever she went. Amongst her besties were the KC Girls, St. Cecilia’s friends, and the infamous Rebels. A special thank you to her cuzzies Linda and Viv and the doctors and nurses who were part of her medical team.
She loved being a greeter at Holy Trinity Church and missed it terribly when she was no longer able to do it. She was most comfortable being at home cooking dinners, auctioning off second portions, and sitting in the sun by her pool.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Holy Trinity Church or the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th at Holy Trinity Church in Webster at 10:30am.
