John “Jack” Thomas Monahan passed away on Tuesday, July 22nd, at his home in Rochester, NY.
He was born to the late Charles and Rose Marie (Latremore) Monahan on January 14, 1942. John graduated from Augustinian Academy in 1959. He then served in the Air Force from 1959-1963.
John was predeceased by all 10 siblings and his parents.
He loved all of his nieces and nephews and was known to many of us as King of the North or Captain Jack.
He loved gambling on horse races, or sports, and loved taking our money in 31. We all had a very special bond with Uncle Jack, and he will be greatly missed.
His burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Carthage at a date to be determined.
