Dorothea M. Darrow (Merzweiler)
June 11, 1931, – January 31, 2025. Predeceased by her husband of 72 years Wilbur E. Darrow. Survived by children Karen (Peter) Wolter, Gregory (Marilyn) Darrow, Lynn (Jim) Reina, sister Ruth Fegan, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dorothea enjoyed traveling. She visited all 50 states and parts of Europe. With an Airstream in tow and a detailed schedule of points of intrest, Dorothea and Wilbur explored 49 states while camping over the years.
She had a passion for gardening. Her green thumb was evident in the lovely gardens that graced the yard. She was an avid bowler and golfer, playing in various leagues into her early 80s. Last but not least for over a half century she played bridge on Tuesday nights.
