Cathy Ziarno

Passed away on June 3, 2025. Born at St. Joseph Hospital, Elmira, NY, to her late parents Jane (Dewey) and Fredrick Hungerford. Also predeceased by her brother John (Jack) Hungerford; Nephew Daniel “Danny” Cullen; and Sister-in-law and Dear friend Darlene Hungerford.

Survived by her children Sean (Melisa) Ayers and Robert “Rob” (Daniel Pratt) Ziarno; siblings Dan Hungerford (Maggie), Ellen (Scott) Wood, Fred Hungerford, Jan (William) Timer, Kelly Woodford, Brenda (Daniel) Cullen, Amy (Lester) Miller; Sister-in-law Annette Hungerford; 3 Grandchildren and 19 Nieces and Nephews.

She was dedicated to cooking meals at Quail Summit and proudly owned and operated the High Noon Cafe at Sonnenberg Gardens. Her passion was cooking for others. Cathy was a great mentor, confidant and loyal friend to many including unconditionally to her dear friend Michelle Dingle.

She was loved and will be dearly missed by her siblings.

There will be a celebration of life July 12, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm at On The Rocks at 3853 NY-5, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
